2026 Employee Engagement Survey Results

The Results Are In!
You shared, and we listened! This year, employees across the City once again shared their thoughts, experiences, and ideas through our annual Employee Engagement Survey. Your feedback helps us understand what’s working well, where there are opportunities to improve, and how we can continue building a stronger workplace together.
A Record Turnout.

You showed up in record numbers!
668 employees participated in this year’s survey, bringing our response rate to an all-time high of 68%. That’s a two-percentage-point increase from last year! Thank you to everyone who took the time to share your thoughts and opinions. We may not have unlocked Jacob’s haircut this year, but there’s always next year!
Overall Satisfaction Remains Strong.

This year, our Citywide Satisfaction Score is 81%, meaning about 8 out of every 10 employees are satisfied with their overall work experience at the City of Corona.
While this represents a three-point decrease from 2025, the results continue to show that a strong majority of employees feel positively about their experience working for the City.
Where We Shine Brightest.

What makes us shine? Clear expectations, supportive relationships, and access to the right resources continue to stand out as some of our greatest strengths. You know what’s expected of you, feel cared for by the people you work with, and have the tools you need to get the job done.
Where We’re Building Momentum.

What’s building momentum? You see purpose in your work and opportunities to keep growing. You want to use your strengths, develop your skills, and work alongside colleagues who are committed to doing their best. These experiences are helping us build a workplace where employees can grow, contribute, and feel proud of the work we accomplish together.
Where We Can Grow Together.

Where can we grow? You want to feel heard, recognized, connected, and confident in where we’re headed. Your feedback points to opportunities for more meaningful recognition, conversations about progress, stronger workplace connections, and clearer understanding about the City’s direction.
What’s Next?

Department leadership teams will review and discuss their individual survey results, considering both areas of strength and opportunities for improvement. From there, each department will identify areas of focus that reflect the unique feedback and experiences of its employees, with efforts continuing throughout the year ahead.
