2025 Employee Engagement Results:

The wait is over and the results are in! This year, more employees than ever shared their voices, helping us understand what’s working well and where we can grow next.
A Record Turnout.

You showed up in a big way! With 662 participants and a 66% response rate, this year’s survey had its highest engagement yet, up 184 responses from last year. Thank you for making your voice heard and helping shape the future of work at the City.
Citywide Satisfaction Reaches a New Peak.

Here’s something to celebrate: our overall satisfaction score climbed to 84%, five points higher than last year! This boost shows the power of collective effort and continued focus on creating a great workplace!

What makes us shine? Our culture is built on trust, support, and collaboration. You feel cared for by your supervisors and teammates and know your contributions matter. These everyday strengths create a workplace where we feel connected and empowered to succeed together.

You are looking for moments that celebrate our contributions, clarity about progress, and relationships that make work feel meaningful. Focusing on these opportunities allows us to build a clearer, more connected path forward together.
We Heard You and We Listened.

So what now? We heard your interest in learning and growth opportunities. Corona University is our new internal Citywide training and development program launching soon. It brings together workshops, courses, and learning opportunities for all employees, designed to build skills, strengthen leadership, and support your career growth. This directly responds to your call for more chances to learn and do your best work every day. Class is almost in session; Corona University will begin enrolling in Spring 2026!
Many of you asked for clearer recognition and more feedback about progress. Career development conversations will create space for open dialogue between employees and supervisors about strengths, goals and growth opportunities. We plan to roll out a participation-optional pilot framework in mid-2026 to start these conversations across the City. This effort will help ensure your contributions are seen and your career path is supported.
We know how important connection and belonging are, and the survey results affirm the value of the team building and social events. We will continue to create opportunities that bring people together, strengthen collaboration, build trust, and create a workplace where relationships thrive. When we’re connected, we all succeed together.
